The Little Black Bag!

The Little Black Bag. Think about that name. Little= small. Black= color. Bag= accessory. Yeah I don't know where I was going with that concept but The Little Black bag is an amazing monthly subscription. It is similar to Birchbox and My Glam Bag but it includes jewelry, makeup products, purses, and much more! It does not involve any samples. Your little black bag will be filled with 3 full size products straight from the designer's shelves!

You first sign up on their website and fill out a fashion quiz so The Little Black Bag can know your style. They need to know your style so your 2 surprise items in your bag will hopefully be what you like. I will go into more detail about that further down. A monthly subscription to The Little Black Bag will run you $49.99. If you just want to try Little Black Bag out for one month it will cost you $59.99. Yes I know it seems expensive but once you look at the products in their showroom you will absolutely fall in love.

The Little Black Box only has designer items in their showroom. Everything is new and unused. When you decide on purchasing a Little Black Bag you will pick out one item from the showroom that you absolutely want in your bag. This item will be in your bag for that month but The Little Black Bag will also have 2 mystery items in there for you. You will be able to see the prices of the items but not the pictures of the items before you place your order.

Once you place your order your 2 items are revealed to you! Now you either can keep those 2 items or trade them with the Little Black Bag community!! Trading is the fun part. I know from experience. It gets really addicting!! You have 7 days to trade your heart out and hopefully you end up with an amazing bag that you love!!

Sigma Makeup Brushes!!

When you think of purchasing your first makeup brushes to start out with what brands do you think of?? MAC Cosmetics, E.L.F, Sonia Kashuk....? Well think again because to get more bang for your buck you should be thinking Sigma!!

The Sigma brand is a well known brand through out the beauty community. They have makeup, brush rolls, and even makeup brushes. All their products are very high quality but the products that I want to focus on are the brushes.

Sigma makeup brushes are so well made you may not even be able to tell the difference between Sigma and MAC brushes!! I know!! Isn't that amazing and you can have a complete makeup brush set for even less than half of the price of a complete MAC makeup brush set!!!

Just to show you how drastic the price deference's are the MAC cosmetics 217 blending brush will put you out $22.50 but the Sigma tapered blending brush is only $9.00!! That will save you $13.50.... now which one would you want to buy?? I know what my answer would be!!

None of the Sigma brushes have any fall out. They last super long and are such high quality brushes. You can even get a complete kit with a brush roll for $99.00!! That is 12 full size professional quality makeup brushes. Now who could beat that price for that kind of quality!! If you travel a lot you can also get a travel kit which consists of 7 eye and face professional makeup brushes for only $49.00. Not to mention all the colors you can get your brush sets in!!

I don't know about you but I am about to go onto their website and purchase some more brushes for myself. I received the black complete brush kit with the brush roll, the pink premium travel kit, and the round top sigmax kabuki brush this past Christmas. Birchbox....? What does that even mean? Well to be honest, I have no idea. What I can tell you is that a Birchbox is a box filled with deluxe high end makeup samples for you to try out for only $10.00 shipped per month!

Doesn't that sound amazing!! It sure does to me! I received my first birchbox in February 2011. When you open your box you see a paper that says thank you and lists all the products that are in your box, how they work, and the prices for the full size products. The items that were in my box were a Bare Minerals mascara, a Nars Orgasm Illuminator, a Pomega5 Green Tea Moisturizer, a BeFine skin exfoliate cleanser, and Sweet Riot dark chocolate covered cacao nibs.

Mostly all of these products I would have not purchased in full size unless I tried them in a sample. After trying out the samples in my box I realized I am going to become broke because I want to purchase every single thing from my birchbox in the full size!!! I already have purchased my March 2011 birchbox!

Venomous Villians- Mac Collection (September 30, 2010)

This upcoming MAC collection, Venomous Villains, launches September 30th, 2010 throughout the United States. Who is excited for this collection?! I know I am!!! I grew up being spoiled. Spoiled with Disney. I asked my mom if she would bring me to Disney World and then I was flying down to Florida that weekend. I was always around the theme parks and had Disney things everywhere at all times. Now, I grew up to be one of those Disney lovers who buys Disney pins and trades them with other pin trading fanatics. I have a boyfriend who was Disney deprived when he was younger so now hes is insanely obsessed with Disney. Hopefully he won't be cringing too much when he sees how much I am going to spend on this upcoming collection since it has to do with Disney!

I can't wait till September 30th! I just hope I can contain myself and not go wild by purchasing everything from this collection (and this collection is pretty HUGE so that would be bad...)!

NARS Smudge Proof Eyeshadow Base!

Everyone wants to find the perfect primer to make their eyeshadow last all day and throughout the night. Everyone has tried Too Faced Shadow Insurance, Urban Decay Primer Potion, Mac Paint Pots, etc. I heard one review about the NARS Smudge Proof Eyeshadow Base and I thought to myself "why not go to Sephora and get a sample of it". It was hard for the Sephora consultant to get the primer out of the bottle but slowly but surely it worked. I tried the primer the next day and instantly fell in love!! This primer actually feels like a primer/base in the sense that you feel the slightest stickiness you need for your shadows to stay put all day and night. It blends very well and goes on so smoothly. Too Faced Shadow Insurance is way too oily for my liking. Urban Decay Primer Potion is good but I think I convinced myself I liked the product because everyone else "LOVES" it. NARS Smudge Proof Eyeshadow Base is priced at $24.00 per bottle. It is well worth the investment. It only takes a little of this product for it to go a long way so one bottle should last you a while. The NARS Smudge Proof Eyeshadow Base hands down is the BEST by far! I definitely can call this product one of my 'Holy Grails' and recommend this product to anyone and everyone.

Hey girlies! So I just wanted to tell you about this product that I have been LOVING lately. It's called: Zebra Print Trio (Lip gloss, Mascara, Eye Liner) AUD$15.95 - TOTALLY WORTH IT! This product is so portable you can take it with you everywhere. I keep mine in my purse just incase I need to touch up my lip gloss, mascara, or liquid eyeliner. I adore this product.
